Top Ten Senators since the 2nd Presidential Debate

By JD Chang

Seems like a long time ago we had a very hyped 2nd Presidential Debate (in fact, it was just three days ago), and as the poll numbers trickle in, so do the social numbers. TrendPo Pro is tracking social and news for trending politicians.
As you can see in the gallery above, these are the Top Ten Senators in:

1. Twitter followers added
2. Facebook talked abouts gained

Here is the Top Ten in each list:

You can definitely see a difference in the Senators with social gains and the Senators in news mentions. Scott Brown was the only Senator to score in all four categories. McCain, Kerry, Reid scored in three of the four, while most senators on the list were just top in social or top in news.

This is just within the last two and a half days, but it is a starting point in seeing how different Senators are working their way into the national narrative (i.e. the Obamney-ville news cycle)
DEFINITIONS:

National Media includes: WSJ, LATimes, NYTimes, WaPo, HuffPost, Fox News, CNN, USA Today
Beltway Media includes: Politico, The Hill, Roll Call
