(Facebook Gap)

(Twitter Gap)

Mr. Cuomo has been given high marks on his handling of Hurricane Sandy, and it remains to be seen how New York will recover from the devastating impact of the superstorm. Cuomo usually trends in the mid 100s in terms of TrendPo Rank (you can see that from the first chart), but sometimes events can propel politician figures into another realm of political clout, i.e. Rudy Guiliani post Sept. 11th. If Governor Cuomo does have national political aspirations in 2016, then the next few weeks will be a good opportunity for the rest of the nation to get to know him.

National Media includes: WSJ, LATimes, NYTimes, WaPo, HuffPost, Fox News, CNN, USA Today

FB Likes is the number of Facebook Likes on each person’s page.
Facebook Talked Abouts is the number of unique users who have created a story about a page in a 7 day period.
TW Gap is the number of Twitter Followers gained each day on each person’s Twitter account.
